Mónica connects with young readers by writing about everyday concepts they can easily relate to. Her simple illustrations bring the stories to life, sharing positive messages and igniting children's imaginations. Writing children's books has been an incredible journey for her, and she is thankful to do what she loves every day.

Born and raised in Perú, Mónica moved to California at age 24 to continue her studies. Now, she lives with her husband, three daughters, and their adorable dog “Wolfie” in sunny Texas, where she dedicates her days to writing and illustrating children's books.
